February 2024 Editorial

Leap day, the extra day in February, that knocks at our doors every four year, receives a royal welcome. Given its once-in-four-years occurrence, the anticipation surrounding February 29 adds to its charm, turning it into an occasion for creating lasting memories and celebrating in diverse ways. February 29  balances our calendars with Earth's orbit, preventing seasons from drifting out of place and ensuring equinoxes, solstices and all the annual events follow their schedule. Without the existence of leap day, summers may arrive in November and we will not be able to predict seasons anymore. To add variety and spice to our editorial we have this time a timeless poem “An Oxymoron” by Ms. Prabha Arun.

Mr. Kannan Parthasarathy has an intriguing take on a pic snapped by him in Switzerland. A report on a trip by the case study circle to Soulfree Inspire by Mr. Vikram add insights into the working of the centre.

I am sure you can add further value to our editorial, so do send in your feedback, thoughts and entries to ccfeditorialcommittee@gmail.com.

Best Wishes,
