Sudharshana Sunder

Sudharshana Sunder enrolled as Advocate on 26th October 1988 and   joined as a junior in the office of Justice K. Ramamoorthy. She is practising in the Madras High Court and other courts in and around Chennai. She has handled matters of importance for various State and Central Government agencies, and she has been a Legal advisor for TWAD Board, Port Trust and SIPCOT. She also handles Family court matters.

Sudharshana was trained as a mediator by Ms. Geetha Ravindra, Trainer, Virginia, USA in 2005 and later as Trainer in 2007. A Senior Trainer, Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee, Supreme Court of India, she has trained advocates and Judicial Officers as mediators in many parts of India and conducted orientation programmes on mediation for referral judges.

Sudharshana is a member of Mediation monitoring Sub Committee (MMSC), Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court Madras, since 2022 and a Mediator attached to the Tamil Nadu Mediation Centre, Chennai.

Sudharshana has been associated with the Chennai Counselors Foundation for many years and has extended her support to us in numerous ways — from overseeing the administration of elections during our Annual General Body Meetings, to clarifying legal and ethical queries, and offering timely legal counsel whenever required. We are privileged to have the guidance of such an accomplished and experienced legal professional, and it is our honour to have her as a valued part of the CCF team.
